The AB Style
We carefully hand-edit all photographs in the AB signature style using a mix of soft hazey colors with a touch of vibrancy. Our signature style offers a simplistic approach to bring forward a deeper warmth and isolate the pure emotion. The final collection of images leaves our families lost in the beautiful moments of the past, reliving the soulful eyes of their young, and able to preserve a visual canvas of the story shared.

From the very beginning, it is important to me to get to know your kids, and your connection shared. We will talk through your vision & session goals, pick a date, and begin to plan! In the last 60-90 sun soaked minutes of the day, we will move through an active and seemingly playful evening as I capture an authentic view of each personality and the unique bond shared.
There will be no timer set...and we will ensure to capture a full collection of portrait & lifestyle images that truly reflect the story written from your heart...with a little luck we may even be able to end with my signature family silhouette!

Atitude is everyting and coming to a session with the perception that it is a valuable family time togehter makes a huge differene in your imagery! Long past are the days of standard posed sessions that everyone dreads.
These sessions are fun family outings now, and it's ok to just be natural! Think of it as an adventure and not a photo session to let go or your nerves and expectations. Let go of checking the football scores, social media updates, or taking phone calls, this is a chance to fully focus on your family togetherness.
Laugh, Love & Play!
Expressive behaviour is important and interaction is key! Touch, hug, and hold.
If you think about the message that you want your images to convey to your children it would probably tell a story of how loved they are, how important and central to your life, how much joy they bring you. So get ready to tickle, embrace, cuddle & share!
Plan and Acitivity!
I love, love, love (did i say love) when a family introduces something that they love to do together in a session! So bring the kite, the hockey sticks, or frisbee! We will create a collection of images that are both portrait & lifestyle to tell your unique & authentic story.
Who's in focus?
I call it "thoughtfully posing"...I may cue, or trigger some engagement so be ready to play your part! The reactions for my set of simple questions and activities create genuine emotion and that's when I snap!

Every session is active, every single one!
We will go for a walk, spin, and maybe even climb trees! Be ready to lift your little one into the air, skip along the dirt path, or hang like a monkey from the tree branch.

+ WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Rain dates will be determined the day of the session ONLY, and not prior. Sorry, the best light can happen after a little drizzle clears:)
+ WHEN DO YOU DO MATERNITY AND NEWBORN PHOTOS?
Maternity sessions are done during the 3rd trimester. For sleep newborns, the first 10 days are best.
+ DO YOU SELL DIGITAL FILES?
Yes, I wholeheartedly believe that we need to print pictures to enjoy them! My professional mission is 100% inspired by creating imagery that people cherish for a lifetime. NEW this year, I am offering the Crafter's Collection for those that would like to be their own product creator!
