Pull aside, enjoy the sun setting | Lake winnipesaukee photographer

If asked, my kids would tell you that number two in the top 10 things I love, is light…just behind them of course.  MY van really needs a sticker that says “I stop for Sunsets.” And this one was beyond stunning.  It was brilliant in every way.  We pulled aside, watched the light and enjoyed a halting stop in our busy day to breath in this magical wonder before us.  As we looked on, we realized that off in the distance in a small patch of inlet grass, their were families sitting together sharing in this beauty as well… Sunset seeking as a community activity in a new viewing place that I told my daughter…would be our special spot.  If there is one thing my light seeking teaches my kids, it is to appreciate the beauty before them…letting it feed their spirit and lighten their soul.
